The Bart Lab began in 2013 at the Donald Danforth Plant Science Center in St. Louis Missouri. In 2025, we moved to the University of California, Berkeley, the Plant and Microbial Biology Department, the Innovative Genomics Institute and the Plant Gene Expression Center. We are studying the ways in which the environment affects the interactions between plants and microbes. We focus our efforts on important crops such as cassava, cotton, tomato and sorghum.
